Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for the pulmonary care of critical, non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under the direction of a physician with minimal supervision.

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans.
  • Perform various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures in all areas of the hospital.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and therapeutic monitoring.
  • Analyze chest films, blood gases, and EKGs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of respiratory care policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:
  • RT or RCP License in the state of employment.
  • BLS certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by NBRC.
  • 3 years of experience in respiratory therapy preferred.

Work Schedule:

Varies, with opportunities for full-time employment.
