Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at Schreiber Foods. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production filler equipment, ensuring high-quality products and meeting production demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Monitor Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate production filler equipment, monitoring performance and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Perform Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks on equipment, including Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) and Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with team members to achieve production goals, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Identify and Report Issues: Promptly identify and report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisors and maintenance teams.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum one year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Certifications and Skills: Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified; basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages; basic computer operational skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
