Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Cardiac Sonographer at Kaiser Permanente, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound evaluations of patients as part of the Cardiology team in an outpatient cardiac care setting. Your expertise will be essential in obtaining ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries, and documenting two-dimensional images and/or Doppler ultrasonic signals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound evaluations with minimal supervision
Obtain ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries
Document two-dimensional images and/or Doppler ultrasonic signals
Assist cardiologists in various procedures (TEES)
Maintain daily patient records/logs and input data into a computerized system
Requirements:
Minimum two (2) years of healthcare experience
Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound
Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 24 months of hire
Basic Life Support required at hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric and echocardiography experience
