Job Summary

Ohio, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Inspector to join our team in Noble County. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring public safety in buildings across the state.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of plumbing and drainage installations to ensure compliance with approved plans and codes.
• Coordinate inspections with building and plumbing inspectors during construction projects.
• Provide consultative services to local health officials on code requirements and safety practices.
• Inform property owners and contractors of plumbing code violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Operate a motor vehicle to travel throughout the state for inspections.

Requirements

• 7 years of practical plumbing experience, including training in sanitary regulations and plumbing codes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass an agility assessment to ensure capability to endure hazardous elements of the position.
• Knowledge of state and federal guidelines, plumbing inspection practices, and Ohio building codes.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle sensitive contacts with public and government officials.
