Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge NextGen space resiliency/flight safety program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and experience working with object-oriented programming languages, agile methodologies, and cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing prototype systems, researching and designing new application software, testing software development methodologies, creating microservices, and supporting systems engineering efforts. They will also provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need experience with programming languages such as Java, JEE, C++, or Python. Familiarity with Spring Boot or Spring Framework is highly desirable, as well as the ability to work with Agile/Scrum methodology in a team environment. Experience with orchestration software/tools like Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift is also required. Additionally, you should have knowledge of integration and development tools, including AWS, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Docker. A strong background in Linux OS and command line interface is essential.

Desirable Skills
While not mandatory, experience with Maven, Rancher, Sonarqube, GIT, Ruby, ArgoCD, Terraform, AWS Cloud Computing Skills, AWS CloudWatch, Elastic Search, Prometheus, Grafana, NIFI, Apache, Kafka, and Kalman Filtering would be beneficial in this role.
