ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly facilities, is seeking an experienced individual for the role of Water Park Operations Supervisor at El Paso Water Parks.
The Water Park Operations Supervisor will support the Manager in overseeing the daily functions of one of our four unique water park locations, which feature various attractions such as water slides, climbing walls, lazy rivers, kiddie playgrounds, and leisure pools.
El Paso has been recognized for its outstanding livability, making it an ideal location for both residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations to ensure compliance with Destination El Paso's operational standards.
- Assist in managing team members to promote high productivity, exceptional performance, and positive employee morale.
- Facilitate staff scheduling and ensure timely postings.
- Collaborate with the Water Park Manager to conduct in-service training programs focused on safety and customer service.
- Enforce all client and company policies among staff members.
- Stay current with required certifications and training, monitoring daily pool operations to comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain facility upkeep and ensure a safe environment for guests and employees by actively monitoring the park.
- Address guest and employee concerns promptly.
- Manage cash handling processes and reconcile end-of-day sales.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of seasonal and part-time staff.

Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, employees, vendors, and patrons.
- Proficient in using personal computers with Windows and Microsoft Office software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle license in the United States.
Education & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED; college education preferred.
- Previous experience in aquatics or water park operations is preferred.
- Minimum of two years in customer service and supervisory roles.
- Current lifeguard/instructor certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this position require the ability to work in a stationary position and move throughout the facility for extended periods. Candidates must be able to bend and lift items weighing up to 20 lbs routinely, and occasionally lift more than 20 lbs. Travel via air and automobile may be required.
