Job Summary

As a New Product Operations Program Manager at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in the dynamic development and launch of our products. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team within WW Operations and serve as the primary operations interface to the core product development team and other functional organizations within Apple.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful launch of products by meeting their stated Cost, Quality, Schedule, Availability, and Customer Experience goals. This includes planning and executing all development builds and rapid ramps of new products, coordinating with Engineering, GSM, SQE, TPM, and other internal and external teams to ensure security, materials, equipment, fixtures, staffing, training, and documentation plans are in place. You will also drive ramp readiness, including materials, equipment, fixtures, training, documentation, and transition and supply chain plans. Additionally, you will assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risk and status clearly and succinctly to management, raising key issues and presenting options for resolution to the cross-functional executive team through new product reviews.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need 5+ years of industry experience in New Product Introduction or Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing Operations or Development or Operations Engineering. You will also need to be able to travel 25-30% to Asia. A BS or MS degree in Engineering is required. Preferred qualifications include the ability to succeed in a matrixed environment, excellent program management and communication skills, and exceptional ability to build relationships, data-driven and willing to take action, enthusiastic and motivated, and detailed while managing several work-streams.
