Job Title: Network Architect

As a Network Architect at InterSources Inc, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance network systems that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in network administration and technical support will be crucial in providing exceptional service to our development team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network systems that meet the needs of our clients
  • Provide technical support to development team members
  • Collaborate with the Network Team and Department Director to ensure network security and connectivity
  • Deploy, configure, and update edge switches
  • Maintain campus telephone systems, including SIP, PRI, and VoIP
  • Ensure proxy authentication through NPS and Radius
  • Resolve escalations on end-user telephony issues and wireless and wired networking problems
  • Configure and deploy WAPs and their controllers and management systems
  • Be on-call 24x7 for emergency network issues and outages
  • Mentor Junior Network Administrators and provide guidance
  • Manage day-to-day administration of Campus Switches, Routers, and Firewall
  • Research and recommend improvements to networking and telecommunications standards and processes
  • Define network policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience working with IP networks and supporting systems
  • 3 years of experience working with Extreme Networks, Aruba, Cisco, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Palo Alto Global Protect VPN, and Cisco VPN
