Composites Buyer/Planner Senior

Janicki Industries, a leading aerospace company, is seeking an experienced Composites Buyer/Planner Sr to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, equipment, and services used by Janicki, while ensuring cost, quality, and delivery goals are met.

• Purchase materials, supplies, equipment, and services used by Janicki
• Meet cost, quality, and delivery goals while providing exceptional customer service
• Interface with materials and operations teams to manage and plan inventory levels
• Coordinate closely with the Materials, Operations, Engineering, and Quality functions to ensure Suppliers meet or exceed Janicki quality and delivery objectives

• Bachelor's Degree in Material Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience required
• CPIM or CSCP certification a plus
• Understanding of composite materials and composite machining processes
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Thorough understanding of ERP/PDM environment
• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations/management
• Experience in an ISO or AS quality management system
• Project management experience preferred
