- Advanced programs in cancer care, cardiology, orthopedics, and surgical services
Our organization encompasses a psychiatric hospital, various specialty care centers, four residency programs, and nearly 40 affiliated physician practices.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Position Overview:
- Aids in the provision of quality oncology research by ensuring the precise entry, processing, and upkeep of health information.
- Collaborates with the Cancer Registry Supervisor on various tasks, including: managing mailouts, processing follow-up correspondence, and supporting the accreditation efforts of the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, as well as coordinating Cancer Conferences.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to the Supervisor of the Cancer Registry

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Education:
- Associate's Degree
Required Experience:
- At least one year of general office or secretarial experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, or one year of relevant educational background.
Preferred Experience:
- Two years of general office experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in oncology.
- Familiarity with PowerChart.
