Job Title: Apigee DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Apigee DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our Apigee API platform for Capgemini. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Apigee (OPDK, Hybrid), as well as expertise in DevOps tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Apigee API platform for high performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and Helm Charts.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible.
- Develop and maintain API security practices and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a focus on API management using Apigee or similar platforms.
- Proven experience with Apigee (OPDK, Hybrid) for API management.
- Strong knowledge of Cassandra for data handling and integration.
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm Charts, and Ansible for containerized application management.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and IAM management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Apigee certification (e.g., Apigee Certified Professional).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
