The Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Division of Pulmonology/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with attending physicians to provide pulmonary and critical care consultation and follow-up services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Care for pulmonary patients admitted to the hospital due to complications of their disorder, treatment, or palliative care.
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and prescribe treatments in collaboration with attending physicians.
- Consult with specialist physicians and other team members regarding patient findings and changes in condition.
- Coordinate care with patients and providers, initiate and adjust treatment, and ensure longitudinal communications with primary and referring providers.
- Current certificate of completion from an Advanced Practice Provider program.
- Current and valid California State RN and/or Advanced Practice Provider licenses.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Pulmonology experience preferred.
