Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Allied Presbyterian Hospital. As a Traveling Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in our cardiac catheterization lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and cardiac catheterizations, with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and echocardiography machines.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (RCES, RCIS, or RTR) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Advanced knowledge of imaging equipment and ability to work cohesively with other team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to various locations, including rural and urban areas, with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
