In this position, you will engage in a range of tasks related to general plant operations and field activities that will adapt with the changing seasons.
Your duties will include setting up and overseeing highly automated machinery for various processes such as harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packaging.

Core Duties Include:
- Harvest-related tasks such as preparation and receiving.
- Plant production tasks including pre-cleaning, gravity operations, treating, bagging, and palletizing.
- Return and rework processes.
- Field management responsibilities such as scouting and maintenance.
- Warehousing tasks including forklift operation, sample collection, and pooling.
- Data collection to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participation in a safety program where you will implement and train others.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education: You possess a High School Diploma/GED or are willing to obtain your GED within one year of employment as a condition of your role.
Essential Skills:
- Flexibility to work across various environments (field, plant, warehouse).
- Ability to work at heights and in diverse conditions; standing and sitting for extended periods.
- Capability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks involving repetitive motion.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons.
- Team-oriented mindset with proactive communication skills to enhance overall performance.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.- Effective time management skills, demonstrating a proactive work ethic.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain an organized workspace.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Standardized Work.
- Understanding of production agriculture and plant operations.
- Knowledge of field equipment is advantageous.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP software for data management.
