Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in diagnostic imaging. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
About the Role:- You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis of patient conditions.
- Using advanced equipment and technology, you will conduct MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
- Providing excellent customer service, you will guide patients through the examination process, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Screens patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions related to the procedure, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
- Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures, ensuring they understand the process and positioning them correctly.
- Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, adjusting scan parameters as needed, while maintaining a positive attitude and working relationships with colleagues.
- Accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Cleans and disinfects equipment after each use, ensuring compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an MRI environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and other medical software.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Estimated salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
