Position Overview:

The Ski Concierge is tasked with creating a warm and inviting first impression for members, ensuring the prompt delivery, collection, and storage of skis and equipment. This role requires immediate and courteous service to members while maintaining the cleanliness of the Club and surrounding areas.

Position Specifications:
  • Outlet: The Osprey Hotel
  • Expected Pay Range: $13.79 / hour
    • If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to earn a minimum of $20 / hour inclusive of tips
  • Shift Type: Full Time, including Weekends and Holidays
  • Skill Level: Entry
Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely delivery of members' skis to the snow when they are ready to ski
  • Transport skis from the car valet
  • Organize the ski requirements for each day/week
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment
  • Deliver and retrieve ski tunes and document accordingly
  • Log daily ski activities
  • Arrive on time and in uniform
  • Maintain professionalism when discussing club matters
  • Handle member information with confidentiality
  • Effectively manage guest inquiries and complaints in a calm manner
  • Demonstrate multitasking abilities
  • Greet members by name and engage in friendly conversation
  • Monitor members coming out to get skis and returning from the slopes (greet them on the snow)
  • Be present at the tent at all times during the day
  • Assist with member requests
  • Maintain a positive demeanor
  • Exhibit a cooperative attitude - take direction from peers and supervisors
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
  • Ensure a clean working environment both outside and in ski storage
  • Conduct regular tidying of the club, including restrooms and lounge areas
  • Support the Food & Beverage team with daily services
  • Assist at the front desk when necessary
  • Prepare and serve cookies with milk in the club each day
Position Requirements:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with high-profile members
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
  • Must be punctual, in uniform, and ready to work by 7:30
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely maneuver large rolling racks of skis
  • Willingness to work outdoors in winter conditions
  • Flexibility and readiness to assist with club operations as needed
  • Positive attitude
  • Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment
  • Previous experience in guest service
