Sales Director

We're seeking a skilled Sales Director to join our team at AFS Logistics. As a member of our team, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a strong understanding of the logistics industry, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned regions
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire multimodal/multiservice opportunities
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, trade shows, networking events, and referrals
- Research and understand prospective clients' needs, tailoring sales approaches accordingly
- Communicate AFS value proposition through compelling presentations and demos
- Establish and develop relationships with key decision-makers and C-level executives, positioning AFS as the solution provider
- Lead client negotiations to a win-win outcome while securing agreements aligning to business goals
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from client prospecting to onboarding
- Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and generate sales activity and forecast reports
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adapt strategies and identify new opportunities
