Security Specialist

SPARC is seeking a Security Specialist to provide a friendly and knowledgeable uniformed presence at our cannabis dispensary. The ideal candidate will be available to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in the medical cannabis industry.

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, staff, and the general public.
• Monitor and authorize member flow, entry, and exit of the facility.
• Check individuals entering the building for valid membership and ID.
• Assist with member registration as requested.
• Conduct regular patrols of the dispensary premises and other SPARC facilities.
• Observe, identify, and report incidents, including criminal activity, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate with staff and law enforcement as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of prior security guard and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work independently.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain a California Guard Card.

• Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
