Key Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in a collaborative healthcare team, ensuring high-quality imaging services. This position involves:

  • Supporting the Radiologist in conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Processing and transmitting images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possession of a current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, along with A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • A minimum of one year of acute clinical radiology experience.
  • At least one year of experience specifically as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Familiarity with both mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Graduation from a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA.
  • Proficient computer skills.
