Building Maintenance Specialist

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This involves monitoring and maintaining the performance of various areas, including HVAC, fire alarms, and life safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that building systems are operating within design capabilities and achieving environmental conditions prescribed by clients.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
- Assist with the implementation of energy management programs to ensure that all systems operate in the most efficient manner.
- Perform emergency repairs as needed and follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values, working to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
- Universal CFC certification is preferred, as well as certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
- Prior shift management or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
