Warranty Specialist

Job Summary:

Daniel Defense is seeking a skilled Warranty Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction in our warranty process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and modify firearms to meet customer specifications and company standards
• Utilize hand tools and machinery, such as grinders, planers, and millers, to perform repairs and modifications
• Communicate effectively with customers to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
• Collaborate with retailers to resolve issues with range rental firearms
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and productivity

Requirements:

• Technical two-year gunsmithing degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High level of experience in handling and operating firearms
• Understanding of assembly requirements, including fitting actions and barrels into stocks
• Ability to attach optical sights, pistol grips, and recoil pads, as well as perform other tasks
• Considerable experience with practical shop work, including parts design, barrel fitting, soldering, welding, and custom stock making
• Experience with grinders, drill presses, lathes, saws, drills, and other metalworking tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise and chemicals
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required
• Travel up to 5% of the year
