About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to fill a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified professional to join our team as a X-Ray Tech. The primary responsibility of this role is to obtain high-quality diagnostic images that aid doctors in making informed decisions about patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Produce high-quality x-ray films of various body parts to help diagnose medical conditions.
  • Instruct patients on the appropriate positions to achieve accurate images.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted practices and guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Two years of experience as an X-Ray Tech, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

The estimated salary for this role is around $110,000 per year, based on 36 hours of work per week and 8-hour shifts.
