Certification Requirements:

Position Overview:
This is a Registered Nurse role focused on the Operating Room/Surgery department. The typical procedures handled include cardiovascular, orthopedic, general, gynecological, podiatric, ENT, bariatric, robotic, and cystoscopic surgeries.

Ideal Candidate:
The best fit for this position is a dedicated, adaptable, and professional individual.

Key Skills:
The most sought-after skills include experience in cardiovascular-open heart and orthopedic, general, and gynecological procedures. Preferred skills encompass Urology/cystoscopy.

Certification Requirements:
Must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Work Schedule:
Day Shift – 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 7-9 Registered Nurses, 7-9 Certified Surgical Technologists, 4-5 First Assistants, 3-4 Operating Room Aides, 2 Anesthesia Technicians.
Night Shift – On-call teams.

Patient Ratios:
1:1

Weekend and On-call Duties:
If involved in cardiovascular cases, on-call duties rotate weekly, occurring every other week to every third week based on staffing needs. For general cases, expect 6 calls over 4 weeks, contingent on staffing levels (minimum of 2 weekend shifts, with the remainder being weeknight shifts).
