About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Painter to join our team at Blasius Chevrolet Cadillac. As a Body Shop Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint to repaired vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and apply paint to repaired vehicles, including final sanding, masking, color mixing, and tinting.
  • Operate spray booths, prep stations, and apply primers, sealers, color, and clear coats.
  • Work with potentially hazardous materials, requiring attention to safety and personal protection.
  • Ensure vehicles are correctly prepared and refinished to achieve proper adhesion, color match, and overall appearance.
  • Be responsible and accountable for all parts assigned to you, maintaining a system for holding parts until installation.
  • Maintain a good work attitude, cooperate with managers and fellow teammates, and remain conscious of objectives outlined on delivery lists.
  • Inspect painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas, wet sand, and buff as necessary.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and compliant work area.
Requirements
  • Body Shop and Auto refinishing experience required.
  • 6 months of experience required.
  • One year certification from college or technical school preferred.
  • Clean and valid Driver's License.
