Job Summary

This role involves supporting the technical aspects of production painting under the guidance of the Paint Process Engineer. Responsibilities include checking system parameters, verifying process compliance, troubleshooting, and assisting with the operation of the plant's paint systems.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Paint Process Engineer in maintaining production painting standards.
  • Verifying system parameters and ensuring process compliance.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to paint equipment and processes.
  • Collaborating with Production T/L, Maintenance personnel, and other teams to optimize paint system performance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in vehicular painting.
  • Familiarity with manual and automatic paint equipment.
  • Knowledge of body repair techniques, sanding, and taping procedures.
  • Proven expertise with Elect-static Spray Guns.
  • Ability to check paint parameters accurately.
  • Able to pass regular Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT).
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols.
  • Willingsness to work overtime as required.
Essential Functions
  • Moderate lifting: 15-40 pounds.
  • Moderate carrying: 15-40 pounds.
  • Reaching and working above shoulders.
  • Use of both hands.
  • Depth perception required.
  • Climbing using both legs and arms.
  • Operating conventional and HVLP paint guns.
  • Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of colors.
  • Function while wearing all required PPE.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range estimated between $45,000 and $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
