Caregiver Opportunity at Frontier Senior Living

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Dogwood Trails Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Palestine, Texas.

About the Role:

  • Assist with all aspects of resident care, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect resident and employee information.
  • Notify Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director/RN of resident changes in condition.
  • Support dining room activities, including meal setup, serving, and cleanup.
  • Assist with activities and transportation of residents to scheduled events.
  • Prepare residents for appointments and maintain accurate vital signs and weights.
  • Stay up-to-date on First Aid/CPR training and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.
  • Previous experience preferred, but not necessary; we offer training.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in-services and meetings.
  • Receive and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
