We are seeking a skilled Composite Materials Technician to join our team.

This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for laying up fiberglass/carbon fiber/Kevlar and similar materials, as well as potting and bonding of materials.

• You will work using precision tools and understand technical plans and blueprints.

You will also mix resins and hardeners to manufacturers' specifications and use and understand work order travelers and manufacturing plans.

• Lay-up fiberglass/carbon fiber/Kevlar and similar materials.
• Ply cutting and orientation layup.
• De-bulking and vacuum bagging of tooling and parts.
• Potting and bonding of materials.
• Mix resins and hardeners to manufacturers' specifications.
• Understand and work to all QMS procedures and work instructions.
• Use and understand work order travelers and manufacturing plans.
• Achieve quality and production goals.
• Assist with training or startups (travel may be required).
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1+ years' experience laying up and/or working with one or all of the following materials: epoxy, fiberglass, carbon fiber, BMI, graphite, Kevlar.
• 1+ years' experience with vacuum bagging of tools or parts, running industrial size ovens, running autoclave.
• General understanding of ply orientation.
• High School Diploma.
