Cardiology Inpatient Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Inpatient Nurse to join our team at University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Cardiology Inpatient Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to medical cardiovascular patient populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to medical cardiovascular patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in shared governance and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
  • IMC experience required
  • Tele-trained required
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • WI nursing license or compact license from permanent address state
  • BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Basic Arrhythmia experience and telemetry competency
