About the Role

MongoDB is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consulting Engineer to join our team of experts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers. As a key member of our consulting team, you will work closely with clients to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to customer implementations at all phases of the application lifecycle, from portfolio assessment to production operations.
  • Deliver customer classroom-based training to architect, developer, and operations roles.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams to drive project success.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the direction of the MongoDB product roadmap.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of software development/consulting/support experience, preferably in multiple industries/verticals.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning, with Windows tuning knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • High motivation for a role that combines deep technical and customer-management dimensions.
  • Confidence speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting.
