Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper file identification
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Provide excellent patient care and communication
- Maintain accurate records and logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of course in Ultrasonic Technology
- RDMS Certification
- 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
- 2+ years of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist
Physical Demands:
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift patients weighing up to 300 pounds and place them in appropriate positions for operation of equipment
