UNC Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Clayton, North Carolina.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to perform a variety of patient care, technical, and diagnostic tasks targeted to the care of patients with cardiovascular disease.
Key Responsibilities- Employ radiologic sciences technology to perform ultrasound imaging, patient preparation, and post-procedure care.
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Monitor and record patient information, maintain report storage and data systems, and compile data for charge entry.
- Generate high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular related structures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and ensure seamless workflow.
- Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field within 3 months of hire.
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
- No prior experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.
