Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in guaranteeing precise and prompt financial reporting. This position entails the examination of financial records, overseeing and validating financial transactions, maintaining the integrity of accounting operations, reconciling accounts, and confirming bank statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and prepare financial status and transaction reports.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key accounting policies and processes.
  • Monitor budgets and forecasts effectively.
  • Assist in bank account reconciliations.
  • Prepare audit documentation and serve as a liaison with the audit team.
  • Organize documentation and procedures related to the monthly closing process.
  • Collaborate with and support other departments by providing essential financial data and documentation.
  • Allocate revenue expenses among multiple entities through journal entries.
  • Proactively enhance Finance Team processes and procedures.

Required Skills:
  • Extensive experience in a senior accountant or comparable role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software packages (preferably Intacct).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to transition smoothly between tasks.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment. Demonstrated capability to support other departments and coordinate training and information sessions is essential.
