Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that applications meet the required standards of performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with infrastructure partners to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
  • Application Development: Define scalability and performance criteria for assigned applications.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure application meets the performance, privacy, and security requirements.
  • Performance Tuning: Tune application performance to eliminate and reduce issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify test plans to ensure compliance with performance and security requirements.
  • Presentation and Communication: Support business and technical presentations in relation to technology platforms and business solutions.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls.
  • Solution Development: Help develop solutions that balance cost and delivery while meeting business requirements.
  • Best Practices: Implement technology-specific best practices that are consistent with corporate standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with multi-functional teams to ensure the success of product strategy and project work.
  • Project Management: Manage the software development process.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive new technical and business process improvements.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate total costs of modules/projects covering both hours and expense.
  • Tech Evaluation and Design: Research and evaluate specific technologies, and applications, and contributes to the solution design.
  • Architecture Design: Construct application Architecture encompassing end-to-end designs.
Talents Needed for Success
  • 8+ Years of Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development using design patterns, Java, typescript, Java EE, Spring Boot, REST API.
  • Microservices Expertise: Experience with microservices & layered architecture on cloud (AWS preferred).
  • Development Tools: Experience using Visual Studio, IntelliJ, or Eclipse.
  • Frontend Expertise: Must have strong frontend experience - Angular.
  • NodeJS and NPM: Experience using NodeJS and NPM.
  • UI Development: Experience in web-based UI development and SPA development.
  • UI Frameworks: Experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and similar UI frameworks (jQuery, React).
  • Data Presentation: Exposure to XML/XSD, JSON, and similar data presentation components.
  • Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with microservices-based architecture and distributed systems.
  • REST APIs: Ability to develop and work with REST APIs using Spring Boot framework.
  • CI/CD Technologies: Experience with CI/CD technologies like GIT, Jenkins, JoCoCo, and Maven.
  • Database Skills: Strong database and PL/SQL skills (Postgres preferred).
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
