Job Summary

Cortica is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning: Establish occupational therapy treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools, and consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care.
  • Interventions and Strategies: Provide play-based and goal-based interventions to promote sensory processing, regulation, and skill development in daily occupations, and facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the individual and family to understand their values, interests, and goals, and educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
  • Program Development: Contribute to program development and implement programming that considers all aspects of the child, inclusive of, but not limited to, sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Possess a master's degree in a related field and hold a current and unrestricted license and/or certification that is required to practice within your clinical domain.
  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with children.
  • Software and Systems: Be skilled at using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Preferably have knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information and experience working in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
Compensation and Benefits
