Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Gunnison, CO. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:
- Administer care under the direction of ordering physicians and under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients.
- Possess a working knowledge of Pulmonary Function Studies and the administration of related tests.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new clinical staff on respiratory therapy modalities and equipment.
- Engage in community education and development initiatives.

Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of newborn/NICU experience and at least 3 years in acute Respiratory Care medicine, including General Floor Care, Emergent Medical and Trauma Stabilization/Treatment, Newborn Stabilization, Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics, and Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation preferred.
- Licensed to practice respiratory care in the State of Colorado.
- Current BLS/ACLS and NRP certifications. Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Member of the American Academy of Respiratory Care (AARC).
- Completion of a Colorado adult protective services check. Reliable transportation required due to lack of public transportation in the area.
