Senior DSP Engineering Leader for Consumer Product Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DSP Engineering Leader to join our Consumer Audio leadership team at Bose. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for advancing our cornerstone technologies and leading the development of innovative DSP capabilities for our OutLoud Audio products.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Leadership: Direct ownership of the architecture, design, implementation, and testing of algorithms to solve technical challenges for new high-volume products.
- Product Innovation: Demonstrate and deliver new benefits for our customers using innovative applications of technologies like spatial audio and machine learning.
- Team Management: Manage a staff of DSP Engineers and leverage external engineering partners as business needs require.
- Collaboration: Work closely with embedded software and system engineering teams to influence future technology roadmaps as well as compute platforms and capabilities.
- Intellectual Property: Collaborate with our Technology Licensing group to deliver algorithms and signal processing solutions as protected intellectual property to technology partners.
- Education: BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Signal Processing related degree, MS strongly preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years of relevant work experience, including personnel management.
- Skills: Demonstrated expertise in embedded DSP for consumer products, multi-channel audio processing, programming signal processing algorithms using high-level and low-level languages, and code optimization experience with production target systems.
- Leadership: Effective communication skills, including the ability to discuss complex technical issues with experts in other fields and business stakeholders, and experience with managing and directing experienced technical staff in both onsite and remote environments.
