We are seeking a highly experienced and certified athletic trainer to lead our Air Force Training Program as the Director of Athletic Training. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our nation's heroes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Athletic Training Program for new Air Force members, ensuring the highest level of care and support.
- Collaborate with sports medicine providers and other medical experts to execute research initiatives and improve patient care.
- Develop and implement CPI initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and support the training mission.
- Manage infection control, patient safety, and administrative matters in the ATFs.
- Communicate regularly with training leadership and military training instructors to ensure effective human performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation plans.
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience in diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries as a certified athletic trainer.
- 3+ years of experience overseeing a sports medicine or athletic training program.
- Current certification with the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) and a valid Texas AT license.
- Basic Life Support certification.
