Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them and managing the registration process.
2. Efficiently handle patient check-in and verify personal information to ensure accuracy.
3. Monitor patient wait times and communicate updates to patients as needed.
4. Interpret insurance responses and assist patients in understanding their coverage.
5. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and obtain necessary signatures for disclosures.
6. Communicate financial responsibilities to patients and process payments at the time of service.
7. Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals to specialty services.
8. Manage multi-channel communications related to patient inquiries, including appointments and prescriptions.
9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies regarding patient information.
10. Support the team in achieving timely resolution of accounts and maintaining productivity standards.
