Asset Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at The GIANT Company. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our retail store assets by investigating losses, preventing shrinkage, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and associates.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve internal and external theft incidents
- Monitor and analyze shrinkage trends to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the Asset Protection team and store management to develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies
- Conduct regular store visits to identify deficiencies and execute corrective action
- Review and analyze shrinkage reports to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with preparation for National Inventory counts and attend counts to assist with audits and inventory paperwork
- Initiate service calls for locksmiths, keys, and cores, alarms, and CCTV
- Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to state and local jurisdictions
- MS Office skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information
