Job Title: Licensed Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health in Fredericksburg, VA.

About the Role

As an Outpatient Therapist, you will work with diverse populations, providing individual and group therapy sessions to help clients achieve their goals. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to breaking down barriers to mental health care in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct intakes and establish follow-up sessions for individuals, making assessments and diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical documentation based on company policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with the team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training.
Requirements
  • Candidates must possess a Virginia clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, preferred) or be licensed-eligible in Virginia.
  • Experience providing direct therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults.
  • Experience in completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Proficient in using Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus).
  • Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with multiple insurance panels.
  • Certified or experienced in specialty treatment modalities, such as trauma-informed care, TFCBT, EMDR, and Veteran culture (preferred), and others.
  • Fluent in a language in addition to English (desired).
