Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to join our team in a fractional leadership role within our Financial Services Industry Practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT leadership, with experience in managing IT teams, processes, and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, collaborator, and communicator who can work closely with executive IT leadership and business unit leaders to develop and execute strategic technology plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute strategic technology plans that align with business goals and objectives.
  2. IT Team Management: Manage IT teams and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to clients.
  3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in server/network/security systems administration, virtual and cloud environments, IT service desk operations management, and project management.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of progressively responsible IT leadership experience.
  • Background and knowledge in banking and/or credit unions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, build and manage strong relationships within a standard 40-hour work week.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • Initiative to identify and communicate opportunities to contribute additional value to existing and prospective clients.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in IT service desk operations, technical support, performance management, team management, and project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft server technologies, including Active Directory and Terminal Services, Office 365 administration, and VMware/virtualization experience.
  • Cloud infrastructure, enterprise storage, and network skills, including support of a WAN infrastructure with remote users and facilities.
