Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Director to join our team in a fractional leadership role within our Financial Services Industry Practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT leadership, with experience in managing IT teams, processes, and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, collaborator, and communicator who can work closely with executive IT leadership and business unit leaders to develop and execute strategic technology plans.
Key Responsibilities- IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute strategic technology plans that align with business goals and objectives.
- IT Team Management: Manage IT teams and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to clients.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in server/network/security systems administration, virtual and cloud environments, IT service desk operations management, and project management.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
- 5-7+ years of progressively responsible IT leadership experience.
- Background and knowledge in banking and/or credit unions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, build and manage strong relationships within a standard 40-hour work week.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- Initiative to identify and communicate opportunities to contribute additional value to existing and prospective clients.
- Broad knowledge and experience in IT service desk operations, technical support, performance management, team management, and project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft server technologies, including Active Directory and Terminal Services, Office 365 administration, and VMware/virtualization experience.
- Cloud infrastructure, enterprise storage, and network skills, including support of a WAN infrastructure with remote users and facilities.
