Job Description

Ryder System Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL Class A to join our team in York, PA. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Load and unload freight, and assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
