The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a professional caregiver, employing the nursing process to deliver and oversee patient care for a specific group of patients during designated timeframes.
- Exhibits consistent competence, compliance, and precise documentation throughout care delivery, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and Hospital & Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Effectively addresses the needs of patients and their families, performing department-specific tasks with exceptional organizational skills, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.
- Delivers outstanding customer service, teamwork, and communication by utilizing SBAR communication principles in all job-related interactions.
- Continuously analyzes and evaluates assessment data to develop a comprehensive clinical picture, effectively employing supervisory skills and the nursing process to anticipate, intervene, and provide exemplary patient care.
- Contributes actively to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment that promotes positive patient care.
- Engages in professional development, participates in professional organizations, unit councils, and quality improvement initiatives that foster personal and institutional growth.
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Current Texas RN License must be maintained
- BLS certification required
