Job Summary:

As an Assistant Patient Care Manager in the Comer Emergency Department at the University of Chicago Medicine, you will play a critical role in overseeing the operations and patient flow of our designated Care Center. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage and coordinate the activities of our team to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Care Center, ensuring efficient patient flow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Care Center Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and quality of care.
  • Lead and manage a team of patient care coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospital departments and external partners to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze patient flow data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize patient care.

Requirements:
