The Geneva Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, Local Union #840, is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join their Electrician apprenticeship program. This comprehensive program is designed to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the electrical trade.

Program Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have one year of algebra with a passing grade
  • Must pass a physical examination and drug test
  • Must be physically able to perform the work of an electrician
  • Must take and pass the NJATC Electrical Aptitude Test
  • Must possess a valid New York State driver's license
  • Must be willing and able to attend all classroom instruction
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
