Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday from 5:00pm to 3:30am
- Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday from 5:00am to 5:00pm
Compensation: Competitive pay with night shift differentials and scheduled pay increases at 90 days and 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute welding operations to assemble metal components, ensuring adherence to blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize arc welding techniques to fabricate steel structures, including electrical poles and substations.
- Conduct welding tasks that require minimal planning and layout from provided specifications.
- Safely maneuver pole shafts using overhead cranes and gather necessary materials for project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and demonstrate best practices in all operations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one month of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Successful completion of an internal welding assessment.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Familiarity with welding setup parameters such as amps and volts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including understanding welding symbols.
- One year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- A strong commitment to excellence and integrity in all work performed.
