Deli Assistant

We are currently hiring a skilled Sales Associate for our bakery and deli department at Pick 'N Save. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a positive customer experience by offering excellent service and product knowledge.

Estimated salary: $14-$18 per hour.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring accurate inventory management, and consistently meeting sales and profit goals. Additionally, you will be required to maintain a high level of product knowledge, suggest relevant products to customers, and handle cash transactions accurately.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh products according to customer orders.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and make recommendations on bakery and deli products.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, ability to handle stressful situations, and effective communication skills. Knowledge of basic math and ability to obtain current food handlers permit once employed are also essential.

Desired Previous Experience:

• Customer Service skills
• Bakery or Deli experience is helpful
• Retail experience
