Department Overview
The Department of Mathematical Sciences provides comprehensive programs designed to enhance logical reasoning and analytical skills in mathematics. Our offerings include master's degree concentrations in Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, Pure Mathematics, and Statistics, alongside a robust bachelor's degree program. We are committed to preparing our students for the anticipated growth in mathematical careers over the coming years.
Role Summary
The Visiting Instructor will report directly to the department chair and will be responsible for teaching 15 credit hours per semester within our core curriculum. This is a ten-month, non-tenure track position with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess an earned Ph.D. or M.S. in Mathematics or a closely related discipline. Experience in teaching introductory mathematics or statistics courses is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to student success initiatives and best practices in teaching and curriculum development.
