Job Responsibilities:

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting MRI exams, working with patients, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, be proficient in IV starts, contrast, and PACS skills, and be willing to float between units. Additionally, you will need to be available to work holidays as needed.

Requirements:

  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Caseload involves 12-15 daily exams covering the entire anatomical makeup, excluding cardiac
  • The candidate is expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period
  • A high level of compliance is required to ensure timely starts, with orientation occurring bi-weekly
  • Submission must include two supervisory references for review


Orientation:

Orientations include 13 hours and completion of compliance items and lab scheduling within 48 hours of contract signing is crucial to ensure an on-time start. Local candidates are accepted with the same benefits and conditions. Return travelers must complete an assignment successfully outside the facility if previously deemed ineligible to return.
