We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham Home Care. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a registered physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients with physical impairments resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in a thorough and timely manner.
- Teach patients and caregivers about physical therapy techniques and provide education on patient care.
- Two years of experience in acute care, rehab, or home care as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn other software applications.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Ability to travel within PHH's geographic area.
